The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine and Dr. Cynthia Bean are seeking to hire a second Board Eligible/Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist.

The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine (MCAM) is a new healthcare facility in Madison, Mississippi, that integrates subspecialty medical care, clinical pharmacy services and care coordination for patients with pediatric and congenital disorders. Our unified care process assures timely and thorough evaluations and treatments for patients who need subspecialty services. Our commitment to service assures patients, referring providers, payers, and vendors unhindered access to our providers and staff. We believe open and frequent communication combined with an integrated specialty care model will optimize quality, safety, service, outcomes, and cost for subspecialty care in our area.

The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine offers a patient-centered treatment team that includes specialty physicians, clinical pharmacy, nursing, and social work/care coordination to ensure the patient and family have all of the resources necessary to navigate complex medical processes and insure the best possible outcomes.

We are actively recruiting additional pediatric medical and surgical sub-specialists as our vision of creating a freestanding option for patients with pediatric, congenital and maternal fetal disorders in Mississippi continues to evolve and expand. Our Center is currently based in Madison, Mississippi with approximately 13,000 square feet of space, we are actively exploring the development of additional space in Madison and also have a primary office in Tupelo, MS. Additionally, we are conducting outreach clinics in Oxford, Hattiesburg, McComb and Ruleville to help reach underserved children and patients across our state.

It is near the top of the state in all socio-economic categories and well exceeds national averages for per capita income, median family income, median home value, educational levels and owner-occupied housing. Furthermore, Mississippi has been named as having the highest average annual wage for physicians when adjusted for the cost of living.

The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine is recruiting a second maternal fetal medicine physician to join Dr. Cynthia Bean immediately after completion of an accredited fellowship program, or a candidate with significant professional experience. This position would provide the candidate the opportunity to join other sub-specialty services including maternal fetal medicine, pediatric asthma, allergy, and immunology, pediatric endocrinology, hematology, neuromuscular medicine and autonomic disorders, and pediatric rheumatology and build a unique program in Mississippi.

The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine is working to create a freestanding network of sub-specialists who manage pediatric, congenital, and maternal fetal disorders.
