Terrie Marbury, AA, MLT
Terrie Marbury serves as a Medical Laboratory Technician and Medical Office Assistant at the Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine. Her responsibilities include providing laboratory and clinical support to the Neuromuscular Program at MCAM. Terrie also assists with helping obtain vital signs, rooming patients and phlebotomy support. She oversees send-out laboratory testing and contracts and works with other personnel to grow laboratory services. Ms. Marbury holds an Associate in Applied Science as a Medical Laboratory Technologist from Hinds Community College and has over 35 years of experience in clinical laboratory settings including hospitals, pediatric laboratory environments and at a children’s hospital laboratory. In her spare time, Terrie enjoys the outdoors, gardening, spending time with her husband, Curtis, and is excited to help welcome her first grandchild in the coming months.
Stephanie Morgan, BS, MT
Stephanie Morgan serves as the Administrative Lab Director at the Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine. In this role, Stephanie directs the planning, development, and operations of MCAM’s pediatric laboratory. Stephanie is responsible for accessibility to quality pediatric laboratory services that support patient care and research for Mississippi’s children. She will work with MCAM providers to develop diagnostic management teams to oversee testing procedures and analysis for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Ms. Morgan received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry from Mississippi University for Women and her Medical Technology degree from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She has over 30 years of experience supervising specialty laboratories, including over 20 in a pediatric and NICU laboratory, with a strong focus on patient safety, customer satisfaction and clinical research. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys painting, wood working and traveling.
